Environment info :
VS 2012 / 2013
For some reason your configuration is screwed up. From Build Log:
> 2> Android NDK: \
I doubt that that '\' is the Android NDK directory.
> 2>C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Xamarin\Android\Xamarin.Android.Common.targets(1243,3): error XA5101: Missing Android NDK toolchains directory '\toolchains'. Please install the Android NDK. [c:\users\administrator\documents\visual studio 2013\Projects\AndroidApplication16\AndroidApplication16\AndroidApplication16.csproj]
And the XA5101 confirms it: '\' is not a valid Android NDK installation location.
Thus the question: how did you get '\' set as your Android NDK directory? Is this an installation error? Or did you install the Android NDK separately/manually, and you need to update the Android NDK location?
You can update the Android NDK location within VS:
* Click Tools > Options...
* Within the left-hand tree view, select Xamarin > Android Settings
* WIthin the right-hand panel, se the Android NDK Location.
* Click OK.
Related: it would be interesting to know if the Errors panel shows the XA5101 error or not. Unfortunately the screencast does not show the Errors panel.
Click View > Error List to view the Errors panel.
As per comment 1, After updating android ndk path we are able to deploy application on device with 'Bundle Assemblies into native code' option.
Hence closing this issue. Thanks..
