VERIFIED DUPLICATE of bug 15365

Description narayanp 2013-10-14 10:03:49 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
[Condition: license should activate on build host]
1. Open VS
2. Create or open any iOS application.
3. Connect to build host and paired with this host.
4. Debug or run the application.
5. Observe that application deployed and lunched on build host.
6. Now delete the license from build host.
7. Now click either 'Refresh Build server info' or 'Start' button from VS.
8. Observe that no activation dialog appears to activate on build host.

Actual Result: If user has deleted the license from build host, No dialog appears to activate license on build host after clicking on 'refresh build server info' or 'Start' button from VS. Even nothing happens after clicking on 'Start' button.

Expected Result: A dialog should appear to activate license on build host after clicking on 'refresh build server info' of 'Start' button.

Today we have checked this issue with following builds:

All Windows
VS 2013/2012/2010
iOS for VS 1.8.365
X.iOS 7.0.4.211

Now this feature has changed as described in this issue now If we want to
connect to build host, there should be Xamarin.iOS build host opened with
requires business or higher license when we open it on build host.

We have observed that if mac lost the license and we run the application using
VS it prompts us to synchronize license on build host. after clicking on
'Synchronize', It activate license on build host and application deployed to
build host. This is the screencast for the same:
