RESOLVED NOT_ON_ROADMAP

Description Christian Krause 2011-10-16 18:12:23 UTC
Please add support for vala-0.14 to monodevelop's vala bindings.

Current behaviour with vala-0.14 installed:

./configure
[...]
checking for LIBVALA... no
configure: error: Package requirements (libvala-0.12 >= 0.12.0) were not met:
No package 'libvala-0.12' found
Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.
Alternatively, you may set the environment variables LIBVALA_CFLAGS
and LIBVALA_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.VsqSbH (%build)

The vala binding will no longer be supported in the main distribution.
We simply don't have the resources vala deserves.
