Description chris.king.xamarin 2013-10-04 16:45:41 UTC
I expected the android Foursource .apk I uploaded to AppExplorer to be tested. Instead it failed to start and Test Cloud reported a system error. Karl noticed the failure and sent me e-mail saying that the Google Play services out of date. This same issue causes many other applications to fail when submitted to AppExplorer.

For purposes of triage: this issue blocks sales from pitching many of the big name valley mobile applications (Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, etc). It also block sales from using those same big name valley mobile applications as demos to other companies.

That should read "android Foursquare" .apk.

Got it. Thanks for the report. I'd prefer if we wait with bugzilla for now. Instead we should use trello, particularly the Xamarin QA Feedback List on https://trello.com/b/zMlycndw/testcloud-tasks.

Later we can move to bugzilla if circumstances require it.

I've already converted this to a card which will go in our next sprint which starts tuesday (8th Oct). I'll make sure this item is high priority.
