RESOLVED NORESPONSE

Description Amanda 2013-10-04 07:31:36 UTC
Hi There

I am trying o implement the new iOS7 functionality SearchController.DisplaysSearchBarInNavigationBar = true.

However, when this is true the override method, WillHideSearchResults , from the UISearchDisplayDelegate class, is called as soon as the SearchBar textbox is clicked. Therefore even though the search results are collected, they are not displayed. When the SearchController.DisplaysSearchBarInNavigationBar = false, then this method is not called and the search results are displayed correctly. When the text in the tool bar is deleted, then this method is called as expected.

I expect I am missing something, very little info on this on google

Regards

Amanda

Can you attach your test case so we can see (and try for ourselves) your code?
