RESOLVED FIXED

Description apple1@nv1.fr 2013-09-23 12:25:42 UTC
This code crash at compilation:

using System;
using System.Linq;
using System.Collections.Generic;

namespace TestCompilerCrash
{

public interface IType { }

public class MyClass : MyAbstractClass<IType> { }

public abstract class MyAbstractClass<T>
	{

public void MethodeFaild(
Func<T> parametreWhere = null,
long startLimit = 0

)
 {
 }

}
}

if you remove the first default value, it will compiling fine:

using System;
using System.Linq;
using System.Collections.Generic;

namespace TestCompilerCrash
{

public interface IType { }

public class MyClass : MyAbstractClass<IType> { }

public abstract class MyAbstractClass<T>
	{

public void MethodeFaild(
Func<T> parametreWhere ,
long startLimit = 0

)
 {
 }

}
}

any explanation ?
Comment 1 apple1@nv1.fr 2013-09-23 12:30:38 UTC
It used to compile using xamarin studio 4.0.9 Xamarin IOS 6.2.7.1.
Crash with all recent versions (Xamarin studio 4.0.10+)

Our application cannot compile for iOS 7.
This is a serious issue !
Comment 2 Marek Safar 2013-09-24 08:53:44 UTC
Already fixed in Mono 3.2.3
