Description PaXLiCh 2013-09-21 04:23:06 UTC
Can't modify or delete any highlight scheme. Can only create new scheme.
In "highlight syntax" options buttons "Edit" and "Delete" not active.
Comment 1 Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2013-09-24 21:55:41 UTC
You cannot modify or delete the built-in schemes. However, if you create a new scheme, you can choose for it to be a copy of an existing scheme, and edit the copy.

Ok, I understand that I can't edit or delete built-in schemes.
But I wrote in first comment:
"Can't modify or delete ANY highlight scheme"
If I create scheme, I can't edit it or delete it any more.

Sorry, but I cant reproduce this bug often, cant find any logic.
Sometimes this happens, sometimes not happens. Common order of steps to reproduce:
0 -- on clean installation of xamarin (without any config files anywhere)
1 -- open preferences
2 -- open "text editor->highlight"
3 -- press "add" button
4 -- enter the name of new scheme and press ok
5 -- then try "edit" created scheme (in this order that button active)
6 -- save changes and try reopen preferences window
(when you select created scheme and press ok on preferences window, scheme not want to applied before reloading project)
7 -- on opened window try select created scheme -- buttons not want to be active

this often happens if delete all config files for application, and you try to create first scheme, on next start of xamarin with saved options "highlight schemes" window works normal.

should be fixed
