Mono 3.2.3

It's much nicer to get the relevant build error message when the SDK is not set than it is to get an ANE and be unable to create the project.

Manual installers could hit this, and that would turn them off (especially as they likely just contacted support to get manual installation instructions).

Fixed.

Today we have checked this issue with following builds:

All Mac and Windows
X.S 4.0.13(build 37)
X.Android 4.8.4
Mono 3.2.3

We are still seeing the same issue, We are not able to create android application getting exception when Android SDK path is not set.

Hence reopening this issue.

This was fixed in Xamarin Studio, not Android. You'll need a new XS for this (and it wasn't fixed in the 4.0.13 branch either).

It will be in the following builds:

4.0.x series: 4.0.14 or higher

4.1.x series: 4.1.13 or higher

Heyo, unfortunately this was only fixed in the 4.1.x series, not 4.0.14. Sorry for the (now) incorrect comment 4.

You can verify this with the 4.1.7 build (XamarinStudio-01f90f9be813c2638fa91cbd074896b0734cfcb3) you have.

Today we have checked this issue with following builds:

All Mac and Windows
X.S 4.1.7(build 1545) on Mac and build(1524) for Windows
Mono 3.2.4
X.Android 4.10.1

Now android application gets created when android SDK is not installed or not set in SDK Location.

Changing the status to Verified.
