Exception when creating a project on a FAT32 partition

Description of Problem:
When creating a project on a FAT32 partition, getting an error (see attachment).


Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Create a new project.
2. Select a folder on a FAT32 partition.


Actual Results:
Throws an exception.
All files are correctly created, except the .csproj.


Expected Results:
Create the project as expected.


How often does this happen? 
Every time.


Additional Information:
It is possible to create the project on another partition, and move the created project on the FAT32 partition. This way there is no error, even when re-opening it.

Apparently, in addition to this, Xamarin cannot save files on a FAT32 volume.

Open a file on a FAT32 partition, modify it, save it. No error is thrown and apparently everything is alright.
But now close the file and re-open it. The modification has not been saved.

Thank you Xamarin, I've lost hours of work.

It appears to be lot of bugs when working on a FAT32 partition...
I'm not able either to open a Storyboard in Xcode, it fails saying "project.xcproj" not found, etc.

What's wrong ?

This is probably related to bug #38538.
