Description Jérémie Laval 2013-09-09 11:22:11 UTC
When pressing Tab just after a '{', a template(?) is expanded to add a matching '}'. This is extremely painful because it results in involuntarily creating a wrong context for people using Tab as a re-indent command.
Comment 1 Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2013-09-09 13:56:37 UTC
Tab-to-reindent is always going to conflict with tab-to-expand-template. Which should take priority, and in which case?

TBH I would advocate removing tab-to-reindent, the on the fly formatter has made it redundant.
Comment 2 Mike Krüger 2013-09-10 00:51:54 UTC
I removed this template some days ago ...

tab-to-reindent should be removed - it's a very 'unusual' option - and I think we wanted remove this kind of options.

Today we have checked this issue and now this is working fine as shown in screencast : http://screencast.com/t/U0zd9cN0PVc

i.e. Pressing Tab just after a '{', a template(?) is not expanded to add a matching '}'.

Hence, closing this issue.
