Please create a new report on
Developer Community or GitHub with
your current version information, steps to reproduce, and relevant error
messages or log files if you are hitting an issue that looks similar to
this resolved bug and you do not yet see a matching new report.
Steps to reproduce this issue:
1. Open or create a Project.
2. Add another project in same solution.
3. Drag or cut/paste any file from one project to another project.
Actual Result: Dragged or cut file from one project does not appear in another project.
Expected Result: User should able to drag or cut/paste file form one project to another project.
All Mac and Windows
X.S 4.0.12(build 3)
This is working fine with stable XS 4.0.10(build 7)
I cannot repro this. Can you confirm the exact sequence of events was:
1) start xamarin studio.
2) Create a new solution
3) add a new library project
4) try to cut paste from the library to the main project
Oh, this was filed against XS 4.0.12.
As such I believe this has been fixed and so we can close it. The issue does not affect 4.1.10.
Just to be clear: I can repro this issue using the repro steps in comment 1 when I use Xamarin Studio 4.0.12. When I retry the same with 4.1.10 the bug is no longer there.
We have checked this issue with the following builds:
All Mac and Windows
X.S 4.1.10 (build 11)
Now we are able to cut/paste file from one project to another.Hence marking this issue as verified.
