this resolved bug and you do not yet see a matching new report.
Get the "Error MT0007: The root assembly ..." at runtime when using user-defined constants in the <OutputPath> field of csproj of project to launch.
Could you please attached a test project to this bugzilla, so we can repro this issue.
I had this bug one month ago, and it looks like I am not able to reproduce it anymore. The last alpha version of the iOS VS plugin library may have fix the bug. If I face it again in the future I will post a sample.
Sorry, looks like there is no error message anymore but the problem is still there. When I use the variable $(SolutionDir) in <OutputPath> the application is not updated after a build on the iPhone.
Surprisingly even if I delete the application on the phone, the build files on the Mac and I perform a clean solution from Visual Studio when I rebuild the application it is still not updated for the very first build.

Sample for the problem
I modified the value of the string below:
"button.SetTitle("Click me 5", UIControlState.Normal);"
in file 'MyViewController.cs'
But the message on the button is not updated anymore after the first build.
