Status:
VERIFIED FIXED

Description PJ 2013-08-21 15:13:26 UTC
Steps to reproduce:

1) Open monodroid-samples/SearchableDictionary
2) Open Project Options -> Android Application

Expected behavior:

Minimum SDK version should be displayed as being API 11

Actual behavior:

Minimum SDK version is set to "Automatic - use target Framework version"

Note: This does not change the actual setting in the manifest, so this doesn't affect things at runtime. What it does do is cause some confusion, specifically bug 14139.

API 11 is also not listed as an Override option in the drop-down list in the AndroidManifest editor. Is there any reason why this is not there? - http://screencast.com/t/CX2zWwCc

Here's the environment info:

OSX 10.8.4
MFA 4.8.2 (alpha)
XS 4.0.12 (beta)
Mono 3.2.2 a0fc6ba
Comment 2 Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2013-08-21 15:26:56 UTC
For some reason Xamarin.AndroidTools.AndroidVersion.KnownVersions omits API levels 9 and 11. Not sure why.

It'll now read and display unknown values, but doesn't have any additional built-in values.
Comment 4 Nischal 2014-03-27 02:43:49 UTC
Now Minimum SDK version is displayed as being API 11.
