Xamarin Studio should remember which screen it was placed in based on a set of internal / external screens, not just the latest screen (with no connection to the external screen).
To clarify: currently XS launches on the same screen it was before, no matter if I have an external screen or not. When I quit XS when using internal screen only (notebook screen), it launches on the internal screen even I have an external (main) screen connected (in that case I usually have the internal screen off, as the large external screen is the main one). I'd expect XS to launch on the external screen, as it's where it was the last time I had both internal and external screens activated.
Current results: XS launches on internal screen, which has brightness set to 0, I always forget and wonder where is the window. Then I need to set internal screen brightness up to be able to move the window to the main (tho external) screen.
I hope it's clear now. Sorry, it's difficult to explain.
There's a simpler way to fix it: maybe it would be better if XS always launched on the main display.
Closing this. It seems to be fixed now.
