Test case from Case #43859
After creating a Class Library project with a Splash screen (1 ViewController and 2 XIB files) in it, there is an iPhone client application project that references this Class Library project and tries to create and show the Splash screen during a long application initialization. However, showing the splash throws the following error message:
Unhandled managed exception: Objective-C exception thrown. Name:
NSInternalInconsistencyException Reason: Could not load NIB in bundle:
'NSBundle </Users/pdadeveloper/Library/Application Support/iPhone
(loaded)' with name 'SplashViewController_iPhone'
Tthis exception is thrown only when debugging from Visual Studio 2010. When debugging from Xamarin Studion on Mac, the code executes fine and the splash screen works as intended.
Test Project attached
From Xamarin Studio on Mac:
X.I: 22.214.171.124 (Business Edition), Hash: 5a0fe54
From Visual Studio:
Xamarin.iOS: 1.3.250 (49348a51)
Tested with latest version, working fine.
Please test with 1.6 and let me know if did work for you.
