When building a Xamarin.Android project, the following error appears:

A repro or additional information would be nice. Which version of OS X does this happen on?

I have encountered the same problem as reported, here are the version details:

Xamarin Studio:
4.0.12 (build 3)
Runtime:
Mono 3.2.3
GTK 2.24.20
GTK# 2.12.0.0
Package version: 302030000

Xamarin Android:
4.8.1 (Starter Edition)
Supported Android version:
2.2, 2.3, 4.0

Java version: 1.7.0_40

Xcode: 4.5.2

Xamarin iOS:
6.4.3.0 (Starter Edition)

OS:
Mac OS X 10.8.5
