Description Adrian Gallero 2013-07-30 17:23:30 UTC
UIType.Gif is defined wrong

Test code:
Console.WriteLine(UTType.GIF);

Expected results:
com.apple.pict

Actual results:
com.apple.pict

If you look at https://github.com/mono/maccore/blob/master/src/MobileCoreServices/UTType.cs
Gif is defined as:
GIF = Dlfcn.GetStringConstant (handle, "kUTTypePICT");

And there is no PICT definition. It should be:
GIF = Dlfcn.GetStringConstant (handle, "kUTTypeGIF");
PICT = Dlfcn.GetStringConstant (handle, "kUTTypePICT");
Comment 1 Adrian Gallero 2013-07-30 17:25:12 UTC
I just saw a I copy pasted the wrong type too in the description. It should say:

Expected Results:
com.compuserve.gif

Fixed.

The next release with the fix will be 6.4.2.
