Please create a new report on
Developer Community or GitHub with
your current version information, steps to reproduce, and relevant error
messages or log files if you are hitting an issue that looks similar to
this resolved bug and you do not yet see a matching new report.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open or create iOS Storyboard application.
2. Open storyboard file.
3. Drag Either Button or Label on designer.
4. Select added widget and go to Properties.
5. Change anyone setting like Type, Text, State Config,
Actual Result: When user try to change anyone setting like Type, Text, State Config more than twice in widget's properties, Some labels in Widget's Properties gets disable and after some time XamarinStudio gets crashed.
Expected Result: Label in Properties should not get disable and X.S should not be crashed if user try to change widgets properties like Type, Text, State Config.
X.S crash log: https://gist.github.com/atin360/ff60194da6d6c6c669f2
X.S 4.1.8(build 8)
REGRESSION: This was working fine with 4.1.1 (build 49)
Hey, is this happening on Mac OS X Lion machines only or also on Mountain Lion machines?
If so, it's related to https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=13510
This is a debugger bug
I think the wrong crash log was pasted because that log belongs to another bug I already fixed and has nothing to do with what we saw in the screencast
We are seeing the same behavior on ML also. This is the gist for the same: https://gist.github.com/saurabh360/bd4c2e99b8cfb8943d8c
We may have a fix for this issue, we're still testing this ourselves but will hopefully land something today.
The second part of that bug (the X.S crash) is fixed in e2af37e9433592f5b33d076957028f1e177322e3
For the first part I'm going to mark this as a DUP of https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=13510
