Please create a new report on
Developer Community or GitHub with
your current version information, steps to reproduce, and relevant error
messages or log files if you are hitting an issue that looks similar to
this resolved bug and you do not yet see a matching new report.
Steps to reproduce:
1.Launch the MonoDevelop.
2.Create a solution.
3.Double click on Main.cs file.
4.Write some code on the main.cs file.
5.Select Undo option from Edit<Undo path or command-z.
6.Changes got removed. Save the file.
7.Select Redo option from Edit<Redo path.
When user clicks on main.cs file and types code and removes code by Undo and save file, after selecting Redo option code reverts back.
Changes removed by Undo should not revert by Redo when user save the file after UNDO.
VM Lion 10.7
Like #1342, it's perfectly valid to use undo/redo after saving the file. The undo/redo stack is not destroyed when you save the file. I don't know any editor that does that.
*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1342 ***
As per the comments from Michael, this is working fine. Hence, closing this issue.
