I suppose its a packaging bug - pdb2mdb might be missing from mono. Can you check whether the installation contains that file?
Comment 2 Saurabh 2013-07-08 09:56:58 UTC
We have checked this after installing Mono 3.1.0 and we are getting 'pdb2mdb' file in bin folder of Mono.framework(Mono.framework-> Versions-> 3.1.0-> bin).

Saurabh, can you please start Terminal.app and type

which pdb2mdb

and paste the result here?
Comment 4 PJ 2013-07-08 17:20:02 UTC
That 3.1.0 mono install is broken on a clean install (symlinks are not created). Please re-open if this persists once 13091 is fixed.

Today we have checked this issue on following builds :

VS 2010/12
MTVS 1.3.272
Mono 3.2.1 ((no/f3f789e)
MT 6.4.1.1
Xcode 4.5/4.6.2

Now we are able to build and deploy application on device and simulator successfully.

Hence closing this issue. Changing its status to verified
