Create a new solution and a project (default C# console project is enough) then add some file that is not likely handled by any mime type action (I added "Test.txt").
Then remove the physical file while not removing it from the project.
Then reopen the file and make sure that the file does not exist (shown as red text indicating that it's missing). If you double click the missing file, it shows normal error dialog saying that it's missing. If you right click it, it causes unexpected error dialog with stack trace (like attached), then the IDE does not respond at all anymore.
