Fixed.

monotouch master-3.0: a49e3f6363b5a23a9c4fe20579cdd07e5ff4a7bf

Today we have checked this issue with following builds:

X.S 4.0.9(build 12)
Mono 3.0.12
Xamarin.iOS 6.3.7-164

Monotouch sample master 3.0

Now Application does not get crash after clicking on view on simulator.

Issue still exists in monotouch-samples:

Reproduce:

Open SimpleTextInput sample project
Set run target to simulator (also verified on 3rd gen iPad hardware)
Build and run in Debug mode
Tap in text field

Result:
Line 93 of SimpleTextInputView (call to `BecomeFirstResponder()`) throws:

Unable to cast object of type 'MonoTouch.UIKit.UIView' (Objective-C type: 'UIKeyboardImpl') to type 'MonoTouch.UIKit.UITextInputDelegate'.
Additional information:
	Selector: setInputDelegate:
	Method: SimpleTextInput.EditableCoreTextView:set_InputDelegate (MonoTouch.UIKit.UITextInputDelegate)

Application *continues running* but keyboard does not appear and input is not allowed.

Expected result: App shouldn't throw exception. Keyboard should appear and the user should be able to enter text into the text field.

@Larry, which version of monotouch-samples did you try? This should be fixed in monotouch-samples/11e28ef88153d59364959cfc90acefab1f2c6f2d.

I thought I'd checked before reopening the bug, but now I can't repro, so I must have been working from old sources.
