Steps to reproduce this issue:
1. Open android sample 'MonoIO'.
2. Debug the application on device in debug mode.
3. Click on 'Schedule'.
Actual Result: When user click on 'Schedule', application crashed and throwing 'SIGSEGV' while this is working fine in release mode.
Expected Result: Application should not crashed after clicking on 'Schedule'.

NOT A REGRESSION: We are seeing same behavior with stable Xamarin.Android 4.6.8
Committed a possible fix to mono master 453654552e97066ac280a8c0873d5e6cd0208876.
Mono has been fixed, please make sure mfa has a recent enough mono.
Should be fixed in monodroid/a4d01a3 (XA 4.8.3).
Today I have checked this issue with following builds:
X.S 4.0.13(build 38)
Noe Schedule page displayed properly and no exception thrown. Checked this on following device:
HTC One version 4.0.3
Samsung S4 version 4.2.2
Changing the status to Verified
