Description Atin 2013-05-24 07:08:11 UTC
1. Create any MFA application in X.S.
2. Open the Resources\layout\main.xml file and add the EditText element (inside the LinearLayout):
<EditText
        android:id="@+id/edittext"
        android:layout_width="fill_parent"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"/>
3. Add the following method at the end of OnCreate()Method:
EditText edittext = FindViewById<EditText>(Resource.Id.edittext);

edittext.KeyPress += (object sender, View.KeyEventArgs e) => {
        if (e.E.Action == KeyEventActions.Down && e.KeyCode == Keycode.Enter) {
                Toast.MakeText (this, edittext.Text, ToastLength.Short).Show ();
                e.Handled = true;
        }
};
4. Debug or run the application.

Actual result:
Application giving build error

Below is the build output for the same:
https://gist.github.com/atin360/6056f86c81b2c5988a4d

Expected result:
Application should build and run successfully

Environment details:
All mac
XS 4.0.7(build 3)- 0f1da1e7f83345a52a4b68b8142ce699a6b2ada0
MFA 4.6.07004
Mono 2.10.12

Note: It seems like that there is an error in document if we replace 'E' with 'Event' at line no 33 in X.S then Application is running successfully.

Tom: This is a documentation bug. It should use `e.Event.Action`:

We have followed the latest documentation http://docs.xamarin.com/guides/android/user_interface/form_elements/edit_text we are successfully able to deploy and launch application.
