We could not reproduce with the simple setup, but this is probably caused by the tester having done something before, and we are collecting the object, which is leading to the crash.

Saurabh, in the future, could you in addition to the screenshot attach the entire output of the "Application Output" pad?

We should keep an eye on this,s ince the sample is wrong, likely not keeping a reference to an object, and then it being collected later. We are encouraging a bad coding practice.

Hi Miguel,

We tried to reproduce it on our end and this time we could not be able to reproduce it, we tested it on MonoTouch 4.9.8 with Xcode 4.2 installed.

Could you please suggest the further course of action.

Thanks,
Jatin

I will keep the bug open, and try to reproduce after the MonoTouch 5.0 release to fix the sample.

Thanks for looking at this Jatin.

MonoDevelop 2.8.1,
MonoTouch 5.0,
Mono Framework 2.10.6,
Mono for Android 1.9.1,
Xcode 4.2 iOS 5.0

and now this issue does not exist.
