Please create a new report on
Developer Community or GitHub with
your current version information, steps to reproduce, and relevant error
messages or log files if you are hitting an issue that looks similar to
this resolved bug and you do not yet see a matching new report.
Steps to reproduce:
1.Create a MFA Application named GridView.
2.Add the image files to the project's Resources/Drawable/ directory(optional).
3.Open the Resources/Layout/Main.axml file and insert the given code.
4.Open MainActivity.cs and insert the given code for the OnCreate() method.
5.Create a new class called ImageAdapter that subclasses BaseAdapter and enter the given code.
It is giving a build error i.e parameter mismatch
Parameter `2' is declared as type `Android.Widget.ItemEventArgs' but should be `Android.Widget.AdapterView.ItemClickEventArgs'.
Not sure how to change an Event handler.
Below is the build output for the same:
Application should be build and deploy successfully.
XS 4.0.6 (build 4) - da8a8e9d08ff363c0aad90ba6c5aebfca1142a28
Mono 3.0.11 ((no/edc181c)
Note : We have use following documents for creating a grid view.
The docs are incorrect. See the GridViewTutorial source, which uses AdapterView.ItemClickEventArgs , not ItemEventArgs :
Tom: Please correct the docs.
An update to above issue:
As per comment1,we have applied changes in the source code and now we are able to run this application successfully on device/Emulator without giving a build error.
And the changes also has been applied to docs also,Hence marking this issue as a VERIFIED FIXED.
