Please create a new report on
Developer Community or GitHub with
your current version information, steps to reproduce, and relevant error
messages or log files if you are hitting an issue that looks similar to
this resolved bug and you do not yet see a matching new report.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open SimpleTextInput sample.
2. Click Project->Profile-Mono.
3. Click Profile.
4. Observer that application deployed to device and Heap Shot window appears on machine.
5. Click 'Take a Memory Snapshot'
Actual result: Nothing happens when user is connected to physical device and click on 'Take a Memory Snapshot'. While this is working fine on Simulator.
Expected Result: After clicking on 'Take a Memory Snapshot', Checkbox should appear on Heap Shot window.
All Physical devices
Need to have several more pieces of information here, like X.iOS version, XS version, regression status.
Please add, thanks!
This is the Environment details for this issue:
X.S 4.0.5(build 4)
Mono 3.0.11 ((no/edc181c)
NOT A REGRESSION: This is also happening with stable 4.0.4 (build 2), Mono 2.10.12 and MT 22.214.171.124
*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 12758 ***
I have checked this issue with latest builds:
XamarinStudio-4.2(Build 2)- a37a8e0cda771d222cabe1f9af29c4d586e7fc7d
Device info: iPOD iOS 6.0
Now, HeapShot takes memory snapshot for device. On clicking to 'Take a Memory Snapshot', it takes a snapshot and a Checkbox appears in Heap Shot window.
Hence, closing this issue.
