Description narayanp 2013-05-06 03:23:11 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open or create iOS application.
2. Open any .cs file.
3. Set breakpoint.
4. Debug the application.
5. Open View->Debug Window->Call Stack.
6. Try to search in Call Stack

Actual Result: User is not able to search in call stack pad as mentioned in Release Note: Allow users to search in the Call Stack Pad in the debugger

Expected Result: User should able to search in Call Stack.

Environment Details:
X.S 4.0.5 (build 2)
Mono 3.0.11 ((no/edc181c)
Xamarin.Android 4.7.5-14
Xamarin.iOS 6.3.5.36
Comment 1 Jeffrey Stedfast 2013-05-06 14:04:36 UTC
You need to focus the Call Stack window and then hit '/' which will open a little text entry box and allow you to search
Comment 2 Prashant manu 2013-05-07 02:18:22 UTC
We have checked this issue with following builds:
X.S 4.0.5(build 4)
Mono 3.0.11 ((no/edc181c)
Xamarin.iOS 6.3.5.36
Xamarin.Android 4.7.4.14

We have observed that after focusing on call stack when we enter any text, little text box appears which allows us to search. But we are not able to search when we enter any parameter, method or object. This is the screencast for the same.

Ok, let's remove that note from the release notes then, it will make it in the next XS.
