Steps to reproduce this issue:
1. Create or open any application.
2. Open any .cs file.
3. Open any one(Bracket, curly braces, square bracket)
Actual Result: When user open any one(Bracket, curly braces, square bracket), closing one not displayed itself.
Expected result: If user open any one (Bracket, curly braces, square bracket), closing should displayed itself. Should behave like this: http://screencast.com/t/iX8BJ8Ji33i
X.S- 4.0 (build 2968)
If you're referring to automatic insertion of closing brackets/braces, this is an optional feature that can be turned on in Preferences.
turn it on in the preferences - it's off by default.
(Maybe I don't understand the bug report - you turned it on in screencast #1)
As per Comment#1 and Comment#2 we have tried it after changing Preference->Text Editor->Behavior.
Now we are getting matching brace.
Changing the status to Verified.
This bug was marked as fixed for Xamarin Studio 4.0.9, which is currently in the beta channel. Try it out!
