Comment 2 PJ 2013-05-02 10:30:01 UTC
Can you post the full version information for a machine that works and a machine that doesn't work? (Keep it to mountain lion if possible).

Full version information - paste from the about Xamarin Studio page please.

The idea was to try to see if there was some other confounding factor that could be determined from the other things you have installed.

Nischal, sorry man but that's not enough - the whole point is to paste *both* machine's version information. You just told me you ran it again on one machine, and didn't even tell me if it was the machine that works or didn't work.

Comment 2 - "Can you post the full version information for a machine that works and a
machine that doesn't work? (Keep it to mountain lion if possible)."

Now, I imagine the problem is that you're trying to run with Mono 2.10.12? Like the test plan indicates, 6.3.5 must be run with Mono 3.0.

Is that the problem?

Nothing there looks suspect, so on to some other possibilities:

How is the sound set up on the VM? Do you have sound at all (like can you play any sounds from the VM and hear them on the computer speakers?)

Perhaps the VM's sound drivers are not installed or installed correctly?
Comment 9 Nischal 2013-05-09 08:27:36 UTC
We do not have sound drivers installed on our VM.
Comment 10 PJ 2013-05-09 10:26:59 UTC
Ok so then that would be the problem :D

Perhaps the sample could check to make sure there is an audio device on the system, but you never need to worry about that with a mobile device, so it's unnecessary.

RESOLVING as INVALID. You should install sound drivers on the VM, it can use the host computer's equipment.
