RESOLVED FIXED

Description Aaron Bockover [MSFT] 2013-04-19 16:20:25 UTC
Having never written a Xamarin.iOS app from scratch before, I find myself very confused as to what kind of application I want to create.

For example, in the new solution dialog under iOS/iPhone, I have these templates available:

Empty: empty project for iPhone
Utility: Utility application project for iPhone
Master-Detail: Master-Detail application project for iPhone
Single View: Single View application project for iPhone
Tabbed: Tabbed application project for iPhone
OpenGL: OpenGL application project for iPhone

Not a single template is actually explained. They should each be trying to sell me on their kind of project. I don't know what to choose at all.

Actually every single project template suffers from this exact problem :(

In general the whole new solution dialog needs a massive redesign. There should be screenshots, big beautiful fonts and icons, real descriptions, and no tree view.
