Please try again with Xamarin.Android 4.7.5-35. That changes the Application force-exit logic to use `am force-stop` instead of sending a Seppuku broadcast on Android v4.0+ devices, which hopefully (fingers crossed) solves the race condition described in https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=11780#c4

Where can I download 4.7.5-35? My download page only gives me the option to download 4.6.04000

Thanks!

Hi Brian,

These are internal test builds of MFA. We'll be rolling out another release to the beta channel with these fixes soon. Unfortunately, there are some other major regressions that need fixing, so I can only make a rough estimate that it will be the end of next week or the beginning of the week after.

The exact final version number that will contain the fix is also as of yet unknown. Sorry for the lack of information.

PJ

JonP - marking as RESOLVED FIXED so we get this in the verification pass.

Today, we have checked this issue with following:
Windows 7 and 8
VS 2012
MFA 4.7.05086

Now user is able to deploy MFA application on device/emulator using VS 2012. However we are unable to check it on VS 2010 because of BUG 12022. Hence marked this issue as Verified Fixed.

Debugger attach doesn't work on x86 emulators. Re-opening.
Comment 13 Mohit Kheterpal 2013-05-13 12:59:54 UTC
Today we have checked this issue with following environments :

VS 2010 / 2012
MFA 4.7.05141

Now we are able to deploy Android application on Device/Emulator. we have also checked it on x86 emulator of API-15 and it is working fine.

Hence closing this issue.
