RESOLVED NORESPONSE

Description gertjancom2 2013-04-15 08:21:37 UTC
I'm developing an app for iPhone/iPad. It's running fine on the iPad/iPhone simulator but haven't had any luck uploading it to an iPhone 3S or an iPad 2. It's always giving me this error:

/Developer/MonoTouch/usr/bin/mtouch -sdkroot "/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer" -installdev "/Users/username/Documents/AppName/AppName/bin/iPhone/Debug/AppName.app"
Please ensure your device is connected...
error MT0000: Unexpected error - Please file a bug report at http://bugzilla.xamarin.com

The application was terminated by a signal: SIGHUP

The funny thing is, I'm not using any notificationService so I'm not even calling SubscribeToNotifications(). It also does not reach a breakpoint in the first statement in AppDelegate.cs.

This happened during app install (which explains why the app doesn't start - it was never installed).

Can you try the following and see if any of these steps fixes the issue:
* Restart Xamarin Studio.
* Replug the cable connecting the device to your Mac.
* Restart the device.
* Restart your Mac.

I'm having the same issue: latest stable Xamarin Studio, trying to deploy to an Iphone 4. Will add more details later.
