RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 6843

Description Alex Solovyov 2013-04-11 10:20:31 UTC
Description of Problem:

SSL Authentication with Google Chrome browser doesn't work (MONO 3.03, LINUX OpenSUSE)

With other browsers (Firefox, IE) works.
on .NET - the same code with Google Chrome browser also works.

Steps to reproduce the problem:

System.Security.Cryptography.X509Certificates.X509Certificate2 cert4 =
	new System.Security.Cryptography.X509Certificates.X509Certificate2("/home/blaze/Dropbox/MONO/SSL/CERT_VMwSUSE/cert.pfx");

			TcpListener listener = new TcpListener( IPAddress.Any, 28000 );
            listener.Start();
            TcpClient client = listener.AcceptTcpClient();

			SslStream stream = new SslStream( client.GetStream(),false);

//NEXT LINE WILL THROW EXCEPTION
			stream.AuthenticateAsServer(cert4, false, System.Security.Authentication.SslProtocols.Ssl3
			 | System.Security.Authentication.SslProtocols.Tls
			 , false);

			return;

System.IO.IOException: The authentication or decryption has failed. ---> System.Exception: Unsupported security protocol type
