RESOLVED FIXED

Description Claus Joergensen 2013-04-04 04:10:53 UTC
Overview

Xamarin.mac application (just upgraded from MonoMac) with "Include mono runtime in application bundle" loads dylibs referencing other dylibs from /Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/Versions/2.10.12/lib causing the application to crash on Mac without the Mono framework installed.

Steps to reproduce:

Xamarin.Mac app with "Include mono runtime in application bundle" enabled. I am not sure if the use of using System.Drawing is somehow involved.

Actual result:

application crashes due to missing mono framework installation, final two lines from running the app with MONO_LOG_LEVEL=DEBUG:

Error loading libglib: dlopen(/Applications/SQAT.app/Contents/MonoBundle/libglib-2.0.0.dylib, 0): Library not loaded: /Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/Versions/2.10.12/lib/libintl.8.dylib
  Referenced from: /Applications/SQAT.app/Contents/MonoBundle/libglib-2.0.0.dylib
  Reason: image not found

Expected result:

The app should have loaded the libintl.8.dylib from the MonoBundle inside the app. The libintl.8.dylib is actually present in the MonoBundle folder, but it doesn't seem to be loaded.
