Description Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2013-04-03 18:54:32 UTC
Mono master/caf5fc0

Breakpoint in Project.cs OnGetNeedsBuilding

Step into CheckNeedsBuild, it goes into disassembly. Stack pad shows file but not line.

In this case, the frame we get back from SDB is at IL offset 0x and has line -1. When I step once again, it goes to the method's initial brace.

Is mcs generating bad symbols? Could SDB work around this in anyway?

This is the method:

This is the line mhutch put the breakpoint on:

726:			if (!isDirty) {

Comment 5 Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2013-04-05 14:09:24 UTC
Weird, any idea what could have fixed it?
Comment 6 Zoltan Varga 2013-04-05 14:41:12 UTC
It might not be fixed, it just doesn't happen any more, it happened with an older xs snapshot.
Comment 7 Zoltan Varga 2013-09-16 15:34:04 UTC
mhutch: does this still happen in some form ?
Comment 8 Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2013-09-16 16:25:56 UTC
I haven't seen it in a long time.
Comment 9 Zoltan Varga 2013-09-16 16:42:06 UTC
Thanks.
-> FIXED.
