Description PJ 2013-03-25 18:08:29 UTC
The error list should show the various MTxxxx errors that appear in the Mac server log. This is not true in the case of MT1006 on Debug.

1) Set your application to Debug mode and the deployment target to 6.1
2) Connect an iOS 5 device to your Mac build host
3) Debug the application

Expected behavior (and the behavior in Release mode):
User should see the MT1006 error in the VS Error list

Actual behavior:
User is only shown the MT1006 error in the Mac server log

Oh sure yeah, I was using 6.2.1.201 on the build host IIRC from yesterday, sorry for not reporting at the time.

I'll have to look at this again today, I was definitely getting the error in Release and not Debug.

Today we have checked this issue with following builds:

VS 2012/VS 2010
MTVS 1.1.196
MT 6.2.1.201

App info:
monotouch-samples-master-271c3c35e74f9fd14dc5cb59d40b9e709a8d02e8/PinChit

When we debug/run the application on device(Version 5.1) we are getting MT1006 error in Error list of VS2012 while Deployment target is set to 6.0 in project options. While with vs 2010 we are not seeing MT6001 in error list for both debug and release mode.

This is the error list of VS2012 in both debug and release mode:

This is the output of VS 2010 in both debug and release mode:

Today I have checked this issue with following builds:

VS 2012/VS 2010
MTVS 1.1.197
MT 6.2.2.7

Now After debug/release application 'Pinchit' we are getting proper error message for both debug and release mode on VS2012/VS2010 and application does not deploy to device(iOS version 5.1).

Hence closing this issue.
