Description bryan costanich 2013-03-20 21:14:02 UTC
In the Android Designer, if you want to copy an element, or paste an element, you have to right-click on the element or canvas and use the context menu. You can't simply select the element and do CMD+C for copy, or CMD+V for paste.

That's probably a dupe of bug 11311. All those shortcuts are defined and should work (and they do here).

working for me now. i wonder if 1) something fixed it in the release yesterday. or 2) there's more to this bug. e.g. it doesn't work if focus is exactly right or something.

feel free to close, and if i can repro again, i'll re-file.

also, you might want to add the short cuts to the context menu. e.g, instead of "copy" maybe it should say "copy - ⌘+S"
Comment 3 bryan costanich 2013-03-21 12:50:54 UTC
er "⌘+C"
Comment 4 Lluis Sanchez 2013-03-21 13:45:10 UTC
Ok, closing. In accordance to the Mac UI guidelines, the shortcuts have to be shown in the main menu entry, but not in the context menu.
