RESOLVED FEATURE

Description Allie Miller 2013-03-19 12:58:45 UTC
After Xamarin 4.02 upgrade, i've lost my custom syntax highlights and can't import them back because file format has changed.
Also occurs on Windows.

btw. syntax highlighting or color schemes ?

Y format change due to vs.net compatibility.

It's now possible to import http://studiostyl.es/ styles. The problem is that the model differs a bit - therefore a conversion isn't possible.

Syntax Highlighting didn't change - there you only would do some color renamings - but I assume you mean color schemes.

Isn't it the same?

Under preferences --> Text Editor --> Syntax Highlighting, which is where the color schemes are shown, isn't it?

I'll go take a look at studiostyles anyway and find one that might suit my needs. Thanks

Syntax highlighting is a grammar definition.
Color schemes are a list of colors.

The syntax highlighting definitions use the color schemes. When changing the color schemes dramatically (like I did) the highlighting definitions need to be adjusted as well.
