Curiously it has already happened to somebody else too:
Yeah, we absolutely shouldn't show the stack trace. Instead of throwing exceptions, we should collect errors on a BuildResult and report them at the end of the sync.
This looks a lot better to me.
RegisterAttribute should have a parameter; the automatic name is unlikely to work.
Pushed in commit 74cc563676. Feel free to tweak the message if required. I mentioned two ways the error can be fixed, 1) But a [Register] on the type if it exists or 2) Use [Register ("Whatevername")] on any other type.
Not correct, you need the "Whatevername" argument unless the type is not in a namespace, which is very rare.
