RESOLVED NORESPONSE

Description Txus Ordorika 2013-03-15 09:30:24 UTC
Trying the tasky example listed in:
https://github.com/xamarin/mobile-samples/tree/master/Tasky

I've built the solution with the new Xamarin Studio 4.0.1(build 9).

The release compilation mode creates the apk successfully, but if I install it in an android in 2.3, the application crashes. Tested in:
 - Samsung galaxy Mini GTS5830 with android 2.3.6 - Kernel 2.6.35.7-perf-CL816486
 - Alcatel One Touch 990, with android 2.3.4 - Kernel 2.6.35.7-perf
Comment 1 Txus Ordorika 2013-03-20 03:45:04 UTC
The same application works fine in different android 4 devices. Tested in:
- Samsung Galaxy Nexus with cyanogenmod 10
- Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 with ICS
Comment 2 Miguel de Icaza [MSFT] 2013-05-22 16:11:57 UTC
Hello Txus,

Could you please attach the logs for the crashes?

PJ,

Do we have a Samsung Galaxy Mini GTS 5830 or an Android 2.3.6 to try to repro?
Comment 3 Peter Collins 2013-05-22 17:14:46 UTC
I was unable to reproduce any crash on debug or release mode on a Samsung Galaxy Mini (GT-S5570 v2.3.4). As Miguel said, any Logcat output and/or application output would greatly help debug this issue.

Also, What version of Xamarin Android were you using when you experienced this crash?
