Description René Ruppert 2013-03-13 04:15:44 UTC
XS 4.0.2

My selection in the dropdown shows "DEBUG" and "iPad Simulator 6.1".
However if I pless play it will always start iPad Simulator 5.1 instead, which is the fourth item in my dropdown list.
I have to switch to drop down to some other value and then back to iPad 6.1 to start the correct version.

Lluis: Could you take a look at this? I don't really know the MainToolbar.cs code well enough to feel safe changing any of the logic
Comment 2 René Ruppert 2013-03-14 08:29:07 UTC
Note: I mainly get this if I have multiple instances of XS open. However, all of them have "iPad Sim 6.1" selected.

Hey guys, I'm having this problem in Xamarin Studio 4.0.5 - should I file a new bug report? I have iPhone Simulator 6.1 selected, and it always switches to iPhone Simulator 5.1 on the first run. Thanks.
Comment 16 Jonathan Nesbitt 2013-05-14 10:05:42 UTC
Also, I installed iOS 6.0 Simulator and the problem doesn't seem to happen anymore. The problem happened when I only had iOS Simulators 5.1 and 6.1 installed.
