Description Ron Meske 2013-03-07 20:20:59 UTC
Description of Problem:

When creating a VBNet Gtk# 2.0 project, there is no tab to select the GUI Designer displayed for the MyWindow.vb and the Toolbox is empty.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Create a new project
2. Select VBNet
3. Select Gtk# 2.0 Project
4. Open MyWindow.vb

Actual Results:

MyWindow.vb contains the generated code:
-------------------------
Imports System
Imports Gtk

Public Class MyWindow
	Inherits Window

	Public Sub New ()
		 MyBase.New("MyWindow")

		 Me.SetDefaultSize (400, 300)
		 AddHandler MyBase.DeleteEvent, AddressOf OnMyWindowDelete
		 Me.ShowAll ()
	End Sub

Private Sub OnMyWindowDelete (ByVal sender As Object, ByVal a As DeleteEventArgs)
		Application.Quit ()
		a.RetVal = true
	End Sub

End Class
------------------------------

Expected Results:
When viewing MyWindow.vb to have the tabs: Source and Designer, available so that the Gui Designer can be used.

How often does this happen?
Every time creating a VBNet Gtk# 2.0 Project.

Additional Information:
When creating a C# Gtk#2.0 project, everything works correctly and I can access the Gui Designer.

The GTK# designer does not support VB .NET and there are currently no plans to implement this, however contributions are welcome.

As per comment#1 changing the status to Verified.
Comment 3 Ron Meske 2013-03-08 11:07:54 UTC
May I recommend that the documentation be modified so that this is clear.
