Test Project

The debugger shows "Unknown Identifier" for Constants or Static values that exists in classes inside a class library.

It shows the correct value when the "constant" is defined in a class inside the same project.

Steps to reproduce:
==================

- Create new iPhone Project
- Add a new iPhone Library Project to it.
- Create a class with constant or static values inside the class library.
- In the iPhone Project, create a reference to the Library.
- Debug the iPhone Project and try to see the constant values. It will show "Unknown Identifier"

Today we have checked this issue with following build:

VS 2012/2010
MTVS 1.1.200

We observed that for attached project we are getting same behavior. it is showing Unknown Identifier. This is the screencast for the same: http://screencast.com/t/hN3fVkcqIeq

Hence reopening this issue.

Today we have checked this with new build:

All Windows
VS 2012
MTVS 1.2.103

And we are still seeing as unknown identifier for this attached project this is the screencast for the same: http://screencast.com/t/eDtfrD2pjfc

While on VS 2010 we are not able to open this project we are getting error dialog popup "The selected file is a solution file. but was created by a newer version of this application and can't be opened"

Hence reopening this issue

Hello narayanp

I've tested this issue. And looks like XS have the same issue.

Can you please file another bug, saying VS and XS can't resolve LocalConstants on watch window?

Thank you. :)

Forget comment7, was a typo using XS

Today we have checked this issue with following builds

All Windows
VS 2012/2010
iOS for VS - 1.2.121

Now we are not seeing 'Unknown Identifier' for constant values. This is the screencast for the same:

Changing the status of this issue to Verified.
