This bug occurs in Xamarin Studio 4.0 when editing a C# project.  After running NUnit tests in the unit testing pad, when you have at least one unit test that fails, upon returning to the text editor, the tabs freeze and it's no longer possible to bring up another tabbed document.  You're stuck on the current doc.

I have noticed tabs freezing also without unit tests... just by switching between source files, building projects and changing properties (do not remember though the exact sequence of what I did).

Once again I got tabs freezing. I tried debugging a project (running debugging several times till the tabs froze).

The only LOG I got was (I have no idea why the IDE looks for some Android SDK as I am developing a .NET console application):
