your current version information, steps to reproduce, and relevant error
messages or log files if you are hitting an issue that looks similar to
this resolved bug and you do not yet see a matching new report.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Create a new android project
2) Switch to release mode
3) Open project options
4) Go to 'Android Build'
User should be able to select/unselect the 'Bundle assemblies into native code (release mode only)' project option
Checkbox is disabled
Xamarin Studio 23b4a61a04a6e73a9ffca52c529bedab629f1e18
This is because it's a restricted pricing feature that was never communicated to the IDE team.
I think we need to add the UPGRADE workflow trigger when selecting this option, not disable it without the correct license.
In addition, a project that includes <BundleAssemblies>True</BundleAssemblies> should throw one of the activation errors.
bug #10771 should not block working on this issue. Removed dep.
Today I have checked this issue with following builds:
X.S 4.0.9(build 15)
Now we are seeing pricing trigger when selecting 'Embed assemblies in native code. This is the screencast for the same: http://screencast.com/t/EdIAwmlLShIr
Hence closing this issue
