The problem (based on another screencast that PJ showed me) is that you don't have any Provisioning Profiles on your system (they will be in "Devices / Provisioning Profiles" section in Xcode's Organizer, not in the "My Mac" section).

The ones in the "My Mac" section are not usable for building, they are only usable for running.

Today we have checked this issue with following builds:

X.S 4.0.8(build 2)
Mono 2.10.12
Xamarin.Mac 1.3.55

And we observed that in Release mode When we go to project option->Mac OS X Packaging, all the option under Code Signing Options are disable. and we are not able to change Identity and Provision. This is the screencast for the same: http://screencast.com/t/xZZd8BV9Ue6

we gone through the Xcode Organizer->Devices->Provisioning Profiles but we are not sure how can we integrate provisioning profile from Xcode Organizer to Project option.

Hence reopening this issue.

Fixed in git master by disabling the Code SIgn checkbox if there are no code-signing certificates.

There's no reason to allow selecting that checkbox if there are no certs to select.

Today we have checked this issue on following builds :

XS 4.0.8(build 2)
Xam.mac 1.4.22
Mono 2.10.12

Now we are able to select provisioning profile in Release mode and able to build and deploy application successfully without any error.

Hence closing this issue. Changing its status to verified.
