Today, we have checked this issue with following builds:

All mac
XS 4.0.11(build 7)
Xam.mac  1.6.9

We are not sure if this is just a bug in the sample but it seems like this bug is blocking some of the core behavior of the sample'

Since this has been broken since XM _1.6_ I think the sample needs gone over to look for sample bugs.

I observed that this issue is working fine. Popup displayed after clicking once on 'Stop' and user is able to save the recorded video.

This issue has been fixed, and I have filed another Bug 28058 for same sample because I am facing an issue. So as of now I am closing this issue.
