Today we have verified this issue with following builds:

X.S 4.0 - 0a40582a1d122994063594ea2ea725960c26b671
Mono 2.10.11
Xamarin.Mac 1.2.13
mac-samples-xammac-1.2-0c45256650f1dda76937763af0832237e2ffa4df 
Now application build successfully.

Changing the status to Verified.

We have verified this issue with the latest builds on the physical machine:

Xamarin.Mac 1.2.17
MD 4.0 - da7ef84fcf8a5391b862209406be69b2303b6d55
Mono 2.10.11

And now this issue does not exists.
