Description Allie Miller 2013-02-18 12:54:59 UTC
When using the same form, the change is only applied when you do it first time, second time you already cannot change form and all settings will be applied to -port
Not for what you selected: -sw600dp-port

Steps to reproduce this error:

1. Create a layout

2. Lock for '-port' - do changes

3. Lock for '-sw600dp-port' - do changes

4. Save and close a form

5. Open Select -sw600dp-port - No Yellow line configuration - If you are going to change something it will apply for all layouts - Default, - port and -sw600dp-port

The workaround for this so far has been to do everything manually.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 7477 ***

This wasn't a duplicate after all, the bug title confused me. The correct qualifiers will now be locked when you select a layout version using the "Alt Layout" drop down menu.

Today with the latest builds:

XS 4.0.3.13
VS 2012/2010
MFA 4.6.01079
Mono 2.10.12

And we have observed that the issue still exists, as after following the steps mentioned in the description of the issue, when we close and reopen the .axml file the changes does not appears as saved.

As the option "Small Screen Width (480 dp)" appears as unchecked and also appears as unlocked. Similarly, the portrait mode is unlocked.

Below is the screencast for the same:

And this happening on Windows as well as on Mac

Hence, reopening this issue.

Nischal, the reproduction of the bug is not correct, you didn't do step 5. The sw600dp-port configuration has to be selected using the Alt Layout dropdown menu.
Comment 8 Nischal 2013-03-25 04:52:07 UTC
As per the above comments, after saving the changes the configuration is successfully getting saved into the Alt Layout Dropdown.

Hence, closing this issue.
